Final Fantasy X HD Gamescom Battle Comparison Video

Just thought I'd let you all know there's a new video comparing a battle in Final Fantasy X in HD and the original. It also shows off the remastered battle music. It sounds pretty good overall, I'm just hoping they don't mess up any of the songs, there's supposed to be 60 remastered songs being included in the HD version! Final Fantasy X&X-2 Release Date Possibility?

New information regarding Final Fantasy X's HD release date has been discovered by PlaystationLifeStyle.
According to Amazon, the release date of Final Fantasy X HD varies depending on the country anywhere from the 15th October to the 18th October! I sure hope this is true! Better get my pre order in!

Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition Plus Model 1504

Okay, so I just ordered this with express shipping. I'm not sure if it will arrive before the weekend (unlikely). Whatever the case, expect to see the first Tales of Xillia Play Through videos to be uploaded in about a weeks time. I'll also make a tutorial video for the Hauppauge as well. It took me a while to work out which model I wanted so hopefully this tutorial video will help others that were in the same position as me. According to the website the 1504 can record in 1080p at 30 frames per second using component. I'll be using the optical in port to record the audio in 5.1 surround sound. I'm so excited that I'll be able to upload videos soon!

Tales Of Xillia - PS3 - Australian Release - Day One Edition

Thought I should just post that today I went out and got Tales of Xillia. I've only played a little but it's pretty cool so far. This and the impending release of Final Fantasy X and X-2 have convinced me to go spend the money on a capture card so I'll be picking that up within the next week. Lookout for my playthrough videos of Xillia. Here's some photos of the game, it comes with a cd containing some sounds from the games soundtrack and a little art book. I'm hesistent to call it an art book but anyway, it's soft cover and includes some pages on the characters in the game along with some pictures. It's a nice addition to the game considering this is also just the standard release (well it says Day One Edition but it doesn't look like there's any 'other' editions, at least for the moment) as well but nothing to go crazy over. There's a few pictures showing what you can expect to see, I think I took photos of all the 'proper' images, which is really just two which showcase the main good guys and bad guys.

Sorry that the quality isn't as good as usual, the big camera is being borrowed at the moment.

PS3 Tales of Graces F!

Just purchased Graces F today! It comes with a behind the scenes/making of dvd, a 10 song selection from the sound track, an art book and a box to go around the standard blu ray case. All for $75! at JB Hi Fi
So much better value than the FF XIII collectors edition which was $140. And the art book is way better as well. Instead of getting screen shots from the game like FF XIII did (LAME!!) it has a whole bunch of sketches of characters, creatures, locations from the game. It also has a whole bunch of cute chibi drawings of the characters as well! Here's a few photos I took.

LG 27" Monitor D2743P

My new monitor just arrived today! It's fantastic so far.

It's 27", can play 3D and has 2D to 3D conversion which actually works pretty well. (2D - 3D conversion actually looked better than Crysis 2's inbuilt 3D :/)

And it also has Dual Play. Definitely look it up if you don't know what it is!

New Hardware!

This isn't exactly figure related. However! I've recently been doing some over due upgrades to my PC. I bought the basic parts I needed at the start of the year with the intention of upgrading it to what I really wanted. Well, it's been half a year now and I've finally got around to getting most of it.

So far I've got the motherboard, video card, case, power supply and some of the lights I want. I've also got an SSD on the way. I can't wait to see how fast that thing is!
